Dwarf practice for an upcoming Comic project. I need to work out how to draw multiple recognisable dwarves. So I am starting off by experimenting with the style I normally use & altering it to see what I get.
This image was just for fun it's based on the layout of an old book cover my Mum has, It was actually completed in 2015 but hadn't yet been posted here. I believe the book was by Author Niago Marsh.
I recently was at a drawing event in Belfast where due to the sickness of theoriginal demonstrator I was asked short notice to give a quick drawing demonstration. Tips went reasonalbly well and I drew several bunnies and cats using the 3 circles starting point. I then went back to whatI was doing and realised that nearly every character I draw including this mermaid starts off life as 3 circles.
Real Sketchy February 2016 @ The BlackBox in Belfast run by Seedhead arts- I had been sketching moon related topics and ended up drawing a representative of Night. Don't ask about the owl, it just invited itself along. I actually really liked the sketch so used a few layers of inks & watercolours to trial how the end image could look. I plan to transfer the image onto some watercolour paper to paint up a final version.

This image is actually from a convention back in 2014, A very nice Cosplayer requested a Coffee Otter similar to my Coffee Dragon. I really liked the image but had forgotten to photograph it before it was collected. It recently resurfaced online & I was able to snag a copy.
A TV watching sketch page. These usually have a little of everything and rarely make sense. On the plus side some of my best Ideas have come from aimless doodling.
